   2. Pure brass is naturally anti tarnish and waterproof, however, exposure to air or water for prolonged periods may cause slight change in appearance over time and therefore it is recommended that prolonged exposure be avoided. 
   3. The best part about pure brass is that any oxidation or discolouration that may occur over time or due to prolonged exposure to air or water can be reversed by cleansing it in lukewarm lemon water and patting it dry afterwards.
